 शान्ता आज पनि चिट्ठी बोकेर नकुलको आँगनमा पुगेकी थिई, नकुल ढोकाबाट बहिर निक्लिदै थियो। तर शान्तालाई आफूले पढन नपाएकोमा साह्रै दुख लागेको थियो। नकुललाई भने कत्ति पनि झन्झट लागेको थिएन। किनकि उसलाई अरुलाई सयोग गर्न पाउदा आनन्द लाग्थ्यो। शान्ता नकुलकी गाउँले भाउजू थिई र साँच्चै नै सुशील र स्वाभिमानी थिई।
शान्तालाई देखेर नकुल भन्छ, "ए शान्ता भाउजू! दाइको चिट्ठी आएछ। खै दिनुस् त तपाईंलाई सुन्न हतार मलाई पढन हतार।"

 Animal trafficking, smuggling precious herbs and deforestation are normal here. Absence of Nepal Government in such villages encourages to do all these illegal work. Villagers lacking awareness carry all these activities because they don't have alternative employment.
